Set up to deliver better value
In 2002 Matt Hirst was working with a large design company and was frustrated with its ‘top-heavy’ structure. You know the sort of thing: senior management team, sales and account management team … two tiers of fluff before you reach the creative people producing the work!
So off he went into the big wide world, Mac in one hand, sketch book in the other and soon proved his great communication and account handling skills.
Going ‘direct to client’, Matt offered high-quality, fast turn-around, cost effective design and in no time, he’d won some big accounts including Ministry of Defence. (We’d love to tell you more but we’ve sig …).
That was the model on which H2 was built and this trim, taught structure still keeps us ahead of the pack.
2005 saw the arrival of Paul Hammond and the official launch of H2 Creative Ltd. Paul’s background in design and account managing for some major house-hold names was a perfect fit. Hot on his heels came Paul Watkins, Head of New Media and from this point, the team has continued to expand in line with a growing client base.
